Grants for the arts - Arts Council England

The Arts Council England offer grants for art related projects that:

Youth in Focus

Through Youth in Focus the Big Lottery are making up to £30 million available for projects in England that support vulnerable young people through difficult changes in their lives.

There are certain groups of young people who need more support at important stages in their lives. Youth in Focus will help some of these young people.

Children's Foundation

The Children's Foundation through its regional small grants programme supports projects that benefit children and young people in the North East of England. 

 

Peter Harrison Foundation

The Peter Harrison Foundation supports activities that:

  • provide opportunities through sport
  • support disadvantaged young people
  • provide opportunities through education.  

Young people and the Arts - The Lankelly Chase Foundation

The Lankelly Chase Foundation supports arts-based projects for vulnerable young people aged 11 to 21.
 

 

Think Big Community Fund - O2

The O2 through its Think Big Community Fund supports young people aged 13-25 to run projects for young people in their local communities.
 
Grants will be awarded alongside training, support and mentoring from the National Youth Agency and UK Youth.

Mustard Seed Grant Programme – The Church Urban Fund

The Church Urban Fund through its Mustard Seed Grant Programme supports churches and faith-based organisations to initiate or develop community work.

 

 

Home Access

Home Access, a government-funded programme, is managed by BECTA. The programme provides grants to low-income families with children who have severe disabilities or special educational needs to buy a computer and Internet access for learning at home. The fund is targeted at children that are in school years 3 to 9 (aged 7-14). 

Youth Music

Youth Music through its Open Programme funds the following activities:

  • structured music-making
  • training and development of music leadership.

     

Yapp Charitable Trust

The Yapp Charitable Trust funds activities that:

  • improve the lives of the disadvantaged
  • use volunteers effectively
  • improve education and learning of those who are educationally disadvantaged.
