William Shelton Educational Charity supports education projects targeted at children and young people, including those in need of financial assistance, in accordance with Christian principles. 

St Katherine and Shadwell Award offer grants for the following activities that take place in the former wards of St Katherine and Shadwell:

• Education and training for children / young people and adults
• Capacity building of voluntary organisations to encourage self-help
• Activities for older people
